Build your business case on your own numbers.

Clear communication is a lever you control. We help you estimate what it is worth, then measure your own results in a pilot. Every number on this page carries a label that says where it came from.

Where each number comes from

  • Measured

Counted on your documents or in your pilot.

Example: grade went from 11.8 to 6.4.

  • Modelled

    Calculated from inputs you enter.

Example: reviewer hours from your volume and rates.

  • Projected

Drawn from published research. Context, not your result.

What you can measure at each rung

The lower rungs are measured on every document. The upper rungs need a pilot, because they depend on people and on your other programs.

Readability formulas answer only L1. HealthLiteracyCopilot works on L1–L2, tests at L3–L4, and helps you measure your own results at L5–L6.

The measured pilot

Pick one high-volume document, such as a renewal notice or a discharge sheet. Measure how it performs today. Send the revised version to one group and keep the current version for a similar group. Then compare.

  • You choose the measure. For example: forms returned on time, calls about the notice, or follow-up visits kept.
  • We measure the document. Grade, PEMAT and N-PLAT scores before and after.
  • Your team owns the result. Your analysts run the comparison. We report it as your pilot result, never as a general claim.
  1. 1 · Baseline

Measure today's version and your chosen measure

  2. 2a · Revised

Pilot group gets the new version

  3. 2b · Current

Similar holdout group keeps today's version

  4. 3 · Compare

    The same measure, both groups

  5. 4 · Report

    As "your pilot result"

Where a holdout group is not feasible, use a before-and-after comparison and state its limits.
