Stars and quality leaders

Find the letters behind your CAHPS scores, before the survey does

CAHPS asks members whether they understood their plan, got the care they needed and found forms easy. The notices and letters members read shape each of those answers. HealthLiteracyCopilot scores your whole library, ranks it worst first and shows which documents touch which measure, so your team fixes the ones that count first.

What you check first

The notices behind the measures you keep

  • A notice is part of the experience members are later asked about.
  • It does not drive a score on its own.
  • Start with the documents tied to the measures that stay.

What you're measured on

Open a measure to see why it matters and how HealthLiteracyCopilot helps.

  • Star rating

    Why it matters
Medicare Advantage Star Ratings set quality bonus payments and are shown to people choosing a plan.
    How HealthLiteracyCopilot helps
Portfolio Scan scores your whole library and ranks it worst first, by the measure each document touches. Your team fixes the letters behind those measures first.
  • CAHPS

    Why it matters
CAHPS asks members if they understood their plan, got needed care and found forms easy, and those answers count in Star Ratings.
    How HealthLiteracyCopilot helps
The notices behind each CAHPS question are scored against your target grade and PEMAT. Persona testing shows how simulated members read a notice before real ones do.
  • HEDIS gaps

    Why it matters
HEDIS counts screenings, checkups and refills, and many gaps close only when a member acts on a reminder.
    How HealthLiteracyCopilot helps
Gap-in-care and screening reminders are scored for actionability with PEMAT. Each is revised toward one clear next step, with a reason for every edit.
  • Quality bonus payments

    Why it matters
Plans rated 4 Stars or higher earn quality bonus payments: at least $13.4 billion across Medicare Advantage in 2026 (KFF). The bonus raises a plan's benchmarks by about 5%, or about 10% in double-bonus counties.
    How HealthLiteracyCopilot helps
ROI Command keeps measured, modelled and projected numbers apart. Every figure in your board deck says which kind it is.

We don't promise a Star rating, a CAHPS score, a HEDIS rate or a bonus. Letters are one part of what members experience and report, and closing a gap depends on the member and the care team. Any dollar figure comes from your own inputs and is labeled that way.

Questions

Can clearer letters change our Star rating?

We don't promise a rating change. Letters shape what members experience and report. We help you find and fix the ones most likely to confuse, and track what changes.

Which documents should we fix first?

The ones the most members read that touch a measure you are judged on. Portfolio Scan ranks them for you.

Do you need member data?

No. We work from your templates: blank or sample notices, never a member's copy.
