A named reviewer decides every change

AI suggests. A person decides. Your reviewer approves, edits, re-suggests or skips each change. Approval locks the version, and the review record exports when someone asks who approved what.

What it does

  • Four decisions on every suggestion: approve, edit, re-suggest or skip.
  • Export uses only the changes your reviewer approved.
  • Named approvals: each decision carries a name and a time.
  • Locked versions and an append-only audit trail you can export.
  • Roles and permissions: admins choose who edits, who reviews and who approves.
  • Your brand voice and glossary shape every suggestion before a reviewer sees it.

The review board

Who has what, and where it stands

Writers send work for review. Named reviewers decide each change. Nothing moves to export until a person approves it.

After the decision

Only approved changes ship, and approved versions stay locked

Export uses only the changes your reviewer approved. A change after approval opens a new version, and that version is reviewed again.

What goes into the export

  • Approved"1 small pill each morning"
  • Edited, then approved"call 911 right away"
  • Re-suggested, then approved"take your medicines…"
  • Skipped"heart doctor" (original kept)
Skipped changes keep the original text. Synthetic example.

A later change is reviewed again

  1. Version 2 · in reviewJ. Rivera, RN decides each change.
  2. Version 2 · approved and lockedThat version is final. Any change starts a new one.
  3. Version 3 · opened by an editA writer updates a phone number after approval.
  4. Version 3 · reviewed againBack to a named reviewer before it ships.
  5. Version 3 · approved, locked and exportedOnly approved changes go into the Word file.
Every step lands in the append-only audit trail. Synthetic example.

How it works

  1. Step 1: AI suggests

Each suggested change shows the original, the new text and the reason, side by side.

  2. Step 2: A reviewer decides

Approve, edit, re-suggest or skip, one change at a time. Nothing is accepted for them.

  3. Step 3: The version locks

Approval locks the version. Any later change is reviewed again before it ships.

  4. Step 4: The record exports

Who decided what, and when, in an append-only audit trail you can export.

One suggestion, four choices

Original

"Administer antiplatelet therapy daily as prescribed."

Suggested

"Take 1 small pill each morning."

Reason: Grade 14 to grade 3. Dose and timing unchanged.

Roles and permissions

Your admins decide who can do what. Only the people you choose can approve.

  • Admin

Assigns roles and sets what data may go to AI.

  • Writer

Uploads, revises and sends work for review.

  • Reviewer

Approves, edits, re-suggests or skips each change.

  • Qualified reviewer

Signs off accessibility and translation reviews.

The rules each suggestion follows

Your brand voice, reading level, glossary and disclaimers are set once, on the brand voice page. Every suggestion follows them before a reviewer sees it.

Questions

Can the AI approve its own changes?

No. Each suggested change waits for a person. Export uses only the changes your reviewer approved.

What does "re-suggest" do?

It asks for another version of that one change. The reviewer still decides on the new version.

What is in the review record?

Each decision, the reviewer's name, the time and the version. The audit trail is append-only, and you can export it.

Who can approve?

Your admins decide. They assign roles, so only the people you choose can approve.
